Apples to Apples Comparison – The Holy Bible and The Quran
In all fairness, who wouldn’t have a look of surprise like this on their face if someone they knew, who had died, was suddenly standing before them.
In, Thomas’ case, considering he wasn’t around when, Jesus first appeared to His disciples, being told “We have seen the Lord,” he shouted, “I won’t believe it unless I see the nail wounds in his hands.”
Now although this specific topic is interesting on its own, the intended story, at the risk of being seen or received as bias or slamming another faith, ‘A True Awakening,’ comes to readers with the deepest of genuine empathy for millions, whom I believe are being seriously deceived … with clear evidence to support such a position.
Apples to Apples Comparison – The Holy Bible and The Quran
DISCLAIMER: This eye-opening apples to apples comparison is meant as nothing more than a mere side-by-side scriptural text comparison (focus on linguistics) of two religious giants, Christianity (The Holy Bible), and Islam(The Quran), to illustrate what could very well be seen as a clear distinction between ‘Human Accomplishment (man), and Divine Accomplishment (God).
In addition, being a Christian, with wonderful Muslim acquaintances, this illustration is void of any prejudice or intention to judge a believer of the Muslim/Islamic faith.
If anything, yours truly will lift up the Muslim women who bring dignity and respect to their own bodies, without feeling the need to flaunt their flesh to anyone and everyone of the Hollywood stargazing mindset.
Worth noting that The Holy Bible consists of 31,173 verses and 66 books, Genesis 1:1 – Revelation 22:21 … written by 40+ God-Inspired authors … with its authenticity supported and proven through science, geography, archaeology, the laws of mathematics, thermodynamics, history, biology, physics, and astronomy … while recognized as being the literal, inerrant and infallible word of God, void of error, with a 400 year break between the Old and New Testaments.
The Quran consists of 6237 verses and 114 chapters … and was written approximately 600 AD … by the assumed Islamic prophet, Muhammad, who claimed to be a decedent of Ishmael … Abraham’s first, illegitimate son, born of Sarah’s Egyptian servant, Hagar.
Again, with utmost respect, this Apples to Apples side-by-side Comparison of religious texts, is to demonstrate what is seen as being the absence of Divinity in a text believed to be holy scripture, WHILE OFFERING UP CLEAR EVIDENCE in return, as to why Muslims may want to reconsider their position of believing the Quran as truth and their ticket to paradise.

2/ Read the first 21 verses … in the Quran … Muhammad … chapter 47:1-21 and then stop
*** Now that you have seen these three side-by-side comparisons, showing more of a point form delivery in the Quran, it must also be noted that Muhammad has been accused over the centuries, by multiple religious disciplines, for plagiarizing and/or adding other religious text to the Quran.
*** Because the People’s Pastor is a Christian, in defense of the Christian faith, a few scriptural references from the book of Genesis only, believed to be plagiarized by Muhammad, will be shared … AND THEN … will reveal over and above in closing, a most significant, undeniable fact that is used in an attempt to hide any form of plagiarism.
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.[a] 2 The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.
3 Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 And God saw that the light was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day” and the darkness “night.”
And evening passed and morning came, marking the first day.
In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and made the darkness and the light. Yet those who disbelieve ascribe equals to their Lord.
12. We have made the night and the day two wonders. We erased the wonder of the night, and made the wonder of the day revealing, that you may seek bounty from your Lord, and know the number of years, and the calculation. We have explained all things in detail.
2/ *** Genesis 1:2 New Living Translation (NLT)
2 The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.
7. It is He who created the heavens and the earth in six days—and His Throne was upon the waters—in order to test you—which of you is best in conduct. And if you were to say, “You will be resurrected after death,” those who disbelieve would say, “This is nothing but plain witchcraft.”
3/ *** Genesis 1:6-8 New Living Translation (NLT)
6 Then God said, “Let there be a space between the waters, to separate the waters of the heavens from the waters of the earth.” 7 And that is what happened. God made this space to separate the waters of the earth from the waters of the heavens. 8 God called the space “sky.”
And evening passed and morning came, marking the second day.
30. Do the disbelievers not see that the heavens and the earth were one mass, and We tore them apart? And We made from water every living thing. Will they not believe?
4/ *** Genesis 1:12 New Living Translation (NLT)
12 The land produced vegetation—all sorts of seed-bearing plants, and trees with seed-bearing fruit. Their seeds produced plants and trees of the same kind. And God saw that it was good.
19. We spread the earth, and placed stabilizers in it, and in it We grew all things in proper measure.
5/ *** Genesis 1:31 New Living Translation (NLT)
31 Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good!
And evening passed and morning came, marking the sixth day.
59. He who created the heavens and the earth and everything between them in six days, then settled on the Throne. The Most Merciful. Ask about Him a well-informed.
*** Now that you have seen the five scriptures from The Book of Genesis, believed to be plagiarized by Muhammad, now let us see a most significant, although simple, undeniable fact that is used in an attempt to hide any form of plagiarism.
1/ *** From above … you will notice Muhammad places his version of Genesis 1:1-5 in … Quran 6 … and Quran 17
2/ *** From above … you will notice Muhammad places his version of Genesis 1:2 in … Quran 11
3/ *** From above … you will notice Muhammad places his version of Genesis 1:6-8 in … Quran 21
4/ *** From above … you will notice Muhammad places his version of Genesis 1:12 in … Quran 15
5/ *** From above … you will notice Muhammad places his version of Genesis 1:31 in … Quran 25
Why is this so significant? Take a guess!
By first, rewording a text to be plagiarized, especially a teaching such as the Book of Genesis offers, divinely intended as one teaching, you then need to displace or separate the teaching (over 6 different chapters as Muhammad did) so not to draw attention to the obvious, without careful due diligence under suspicion.
What is meant here by ‘divinely intended as one teaching,’ are two things: A/ The entire book of Genesis is The Living God’s teaching to the world “In The Beginning,” etc. And B/ To scatter bits and pieces throughout God’s word, would be like a teacher asking our children to read every 5th or 10th line of each chapter of a book, and then return to the beginning and reading every 4th & 9th, or 6th & 11th line for example, until completed; HOW QUICKLY WOULD OUR CHILDREN LEARN USING SUCH A PROCESS? Exactly!
In closing, and always with respect and graciousness, void at all times of intention to offend, considering souls are at risk, I want to leave you with a few other tidbits worth pondering, regarding Muhammad and the Quran and/or the Hadith.
Islamic Writing and the Universe
Quran, Hadith and Scholars: Cosmology
Islamic scriptures and scholars have much to say in regards to the cosmology of the universe.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Dharr that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) one day said: Do you know where the sun goes? They replied: Allah and His Apostle know best. He (the Holy Prophet) observed: Verily it (the sun) glides till it reaches its resting place under the Throne. Then it falls prostrate and remains there until it is asked: Rise up and go to the place whence you came, and it goes back and continues emerging out from its rising place and then glides till it reaches its place of rest under the Throne and falls prostrate and remains in that state until it is asked: Rise up and return to the place whence you came, and it returns and emerges out from it rising place and the it glides (in such a normal way) that the people do not discern anything ( unusual in it) till it reaches its resting place under the Throne. Then it would be said to it: Rise up and emerge out from the place of your setting, and it will rise from the place of its setting. The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said. Do you know when it would happen? It would happen at the time when faith will not benefit one who has not previously believed or has derived no good from the faith.
The Sun has no resting place … yet continues on its circuit. In Psalm 19:6 (NIV) we read: “It (the Sun) rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is hidden from its heat.” *** This is only shared because it has been proven as such by the field of Astronomy.
The Flat Earth
Flat Earth and the Qur’an
As recently as 1993 the supreme religious authority of Saudi Arabia Sheik Abdul-Aziz Ibn Baaz declared “The earth is flat. Whoever claims it is round is an atheist deserving of punishment.” and in a televised debate aired on Iraqi Al-Fayhaa TV (October 31, 2007), Muslim Researcher on Astronomy Fadhel Al-Sa’d also declared that the Earth is flat as evidenced by Qur’anic verses and that the sun is much smaller than the Earth and revolves around it. As devout Muslims, they have good reason to conclude the Earth is flat; the Qur’anic verses 15:19, 20:53, 43:10, 50:7, 51:48, 71:19, 78:6, 79:30, 88:20 and 91:6 all clearly state this. While many have attempted to explain away this oddity, they prey on their listeners ignorance of the Arabic language. As such, their apologetic claims have been easily refuted by native Arabic speakers. There is no escaping the fact that, according to the Qur’an, the earth is flat.
We read in Isaiah 40:22, “It is God who sits above the circle of the earth. The people below must seem to him like grasshoppers! He is the one who spreads out the heavens like a curtain and makes his tent from them.” When Isaiah wrote this verse he used the Hebrew word “khug” to describe the shape of the earth. Although this word is commonly translated into the English word “circle,” the literal meaning is “a sphere.”
*** JUST THREE DOORS OVER from my home, within the past month and a half, a young Syrian man from one of the two family homes raided, by the biggest policing busts ever witnessed in our city, was charged with terrorism (something we are unfamiliar with here in Canada).
Let me ask you? Is or was it because he is Syrian? I don’t believe that!
The People’s Pastor believes, only because of his lack of truth within him, was he doing what was and is wrong.
The True and Living God, Jesus Christ did not create evil … evil is the absence of God … and the absolute truth of The Living God cannot be found in a man-made religion; evil instigates evil … truth instills love!
I’m trusting you have seen this nugget as honest, fair, and informative as genuinely intended. God bless you!
